Textbook Collection Is in the Main Library

All textbooks, calculators, and Chromebooks will be collected in the main West High Library.  The textbook window is no longer open.  Please go to the library

Any Chromebook not turned in by Monday, June 14th will be charged a $15 fine.  We NEED these back in our inventory. Chromebooks can be only be kept over summer on a case by case basis. You must contact the librarian at puccio.mary@tusd.org or your assistant principal and you will need to fill out a new Chromebook Request Form for 2021-2022.

** The line for returns on our last day was unusually long and we may not have gotten to everyone.  We will extend check in hours to Friday, 6/11, 9am -12pm, and Monday, 6/14,, 9am - 12pm with no late fines.  Any book turned in after Monday, 6/14 will be charged $5 per textbook and $15 per Chromebook.  This exception is only for this atypical school year.  All books should be turned in during your finals week and by the last day of school in a typical year.

Access our collection of physical books as well as our eBooks and audio books through westhighschool.goalexandria.com.  If you log in as a student, you can place books on hold and then we will have the book waiting for you at the textbook window during textbook hours.  Be sure to notify Mrs. Puccio, the librarian, that you have placed a physical book on hold so that she can take it to the window.  Email her at puccio.mary@tusd.org

All Senior Materials Must Be Returned for Senior Clearance

All seniors need to clear all library debts and turn in all Chromebooks in order to get their Senior Clearance.  Remove all papers and covers from books or there will be a $5 fine per book that we must clean out.  If you have damages to your books or Chromebooks, anticipate the charge. West High School has several options to access eBooks, audio books, daily newspapers, research databases, and much more for both learning and pleasure. ProQuest U.S. Major DailiesIncludes the 5 major current daily newspapers from this morning and dating back to 1985. You must log in to eTUSD and on the homepage, under Student Resources > high school, you can access these five newspapers.
