Late Work Policy

Parents should be checking the Parent Connect website to see what assignments their child is missing on a regular basis. On Fridays, students usually will receive a slip of paper if they are missing any assignments up to Thursday. Students have until Monday (or first day back) to turn in their late work for partial credit (50%). If work does not come in after Monday (unless a project, test, or quiz), they still must do the work, but will receive 0 points for achievement. It will count towards their effort grade.

Projects are reduced one grade each day it is late.

Students who are absent have one day extra for each day they were absent. Additional time may be granted if necessary (over the weekend), but please notify the teacher. If work comes in very late (over a week) after an absence, general late work policies apply.

Please be aware that in 7th and 8th grade, teachers DO NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE WORK for credit. Thank you for your understanding,

Mrs. Takano & Mrs. Yung
