Academic Mastery Period (AMP)

What is AMP?

AMP is a twenty-five (25) minute tutorial time that is built into our school schedule on Mondays, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.   We do not have AMP on Tuesdays due to the Late Start schedule.   Currently, AMP time takes place directly after Period Four (4) which is right before lunch time.

What happens during AMP?

This is a quiet "study hall"  type period that is used in the following ways.

• Teachers are able to bring in individual students in for extra support such as assignment help or exam completion
• Students can get a head start on their homework or finish up classwork
• Students can use it a a dedicated reading time
