CHOIR

In Choir, student learn how to sing with strength and clarity using an entire body singing technique which utilizes the stronger muscles in the legs, arms, and core, providing relief and relaxation for the weaker muscles and tissues of the larynx (voice box) and throat. They also learn basic music reading skills. This class includes learning multi-part music (harmony) for mixed voices (male and female) in a wide variety of styles including rounds, folk, spirituals, popular, classical, musical theatre, and multicultural music.

Student perform annually at the Winter & Spring Concert. No experience necessary for students to join the class, just the desire to sing!
