Principal's Message

Dear Magruder Families, 

Welcome back Mustang community! This summer we were so excited to be voted one of the Daily Breeze and Beach Reporter's favorite public middle schools! This is a huge honor and well-deserved recognition for our dedicated staff, students, families, and community.  Please click here to read the article highlighting Magruder and TUSD.  

At Magruder, our students continue to excel in the 4 A's, Academics, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts. We are proud to offer a variety of courses for our students with everything from accelerated classes to hands-on engineering classes, financial literacy, journalism, show choir, and more.

For the 24-25 school year, we are looking forward to a year full of endless possibilities. Through our partnership with the PTSA, we are excited to continue to offer events for our students and families that allow our community to be a part of our Mustang family including our dances, movie nights, carnival, and more.

I look forward to supporting the growth and success of Magruder and all our students both in and out of the classroom. Magruder has outstanding students, dedicated staff, and incredible parents who all contribute to our Mustang family.
