CLERICAL BATTERY EXAMINATION

The clerical battery examination is a three (3) level examination for designated clerical TUSD classifications.

Applicants who take the clerical battery examination can apply a passing score to the classifications listed below. Please see application of scores information below.

Application of Scores

Passing scores from clerical battery examinations will only be applied to classifications that the applicant meets the required general qualifications. These scores are valid for a period of one (1) year. 

Applicants may not retake a clerical battery examination within a 30 day period. Those who are unsuccessful may not retake the examination within a 90 day period. 

If the Personnel Commission deems, after further evaluation of the examination components that the examination must be revised, applicants will be required to take the revised test. 

Scores will only be applied to future open recruitments and are not retroactive. 

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

After successfully passing the examination and when vacancies occur in the above listed classifications, applicants will be notified and receive a link to the recruitment posting. A separate and complete application must be filed for each classification. Applicants must meet the general qualifications to continue in the recruitment process. 

Selected classifications may include additional practical demonstration of skills component(s).
