Career Technical Education

In Torrance Unified, the Career Technical Education (CTE) program provides students with the knowledge, experiences and skills they need to be prepared for college and careers. In CTE courses, students experience hands-on learning and industry experiences which gives purpose to learning by emphasizing real-world skills and practical knowledge within a selected career focus.

Torrance Unified currently offers a variety of CTE programs at each of its high schools including:

*Please note that not all 16 CTE pathway programs are offered at each our high schools.  

Agriculture and Natural Resources

An academic and practical foundation in the different aspects of the agricultural field. Students are well-versed in relevant experiences, ranging from laboratory instruction to supervisory and leadership projects.
