Welcome
The Educational Services Department provides leadership and support across the District by guiding the development, alignment, and implementation of curriculum, standards, assessments, professional learning, and student support services. Our goal is to ensure that every student meets or exceeds District and state expectations.
In partnership with elementary and secondary schools, we are committed to creating the conditions for success by fostering high levels of learning for all students.
Educational Services also oversees the coordination of the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), which encompasses programs and services for English Learners (EL), Title I students, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), Special Education, Transitional Kindergarten, and Technology for Learning.
Our work is grounded in the District’s mission and Portrait of a Graduate: to ensure that every student is educated and prepared to succeed in life. We are dedicated to nurturing individual potential and developing lifelong learners who will thrive as contributing members of a global society.
