The Educational Services Department provides leadership and support for District staff by coordinating the development, alignment, and implementation of standards, curriculum, professional development, assessments, and support services to ensure that each student meets or exceeds District and state standards.
In working with the elementary and secondary schools we are committed to ensuring high levels of learning for all students and strive to create the conditions for all learners to succeed.
Educational Services coordinates all aspects of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) including, but not limited to programs for English Learners (EL), Title 1 students, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), Special Education, Technology for Learning, and Transitional Kindergarten.
Educational Services is committed to supporting the District mission: To ensure that each and every student is educated and prepared to succeed in life. We are dedicated to maximizing individual potential and developing lifelong learners who will be contributing members in a global society.
