Student Activities

Check out our South High Student Activities Web site at: https://shs-student-activities.squarespace.com/. This website features all of our Class information including fundraisers, opportunities to get involved and more....!

ASB (Associated Student Body) involves seventeen ASB officers and eight class officers representing each grade level. Each Class Council has ten officers that serve at each grade level.

The activities director and class sponsors provide training and guidance, and coordinate this active working structure of the Student Government Program and the Schoolwide Activities Program.

The ASB student leaders organize and coordinate more than 150 activities and events each year. The faculty and administration know that students are the heart of the school community and therefore encourage student input and feedback at every opportunity.

Many alumni got their start participating in South High activities and now hold prestigious leadership positions around the country in major corporations, the community, and the U.S. Government. Through student involvement and the encouragement of faculty and administration, student activities contribute to the school’s positive climate.
