Magruder has a new Assistant Principal
At the end of last year, our wonderful Assistant Principal, Mr. Hendricks, said goodbye to Magruder and retired after a long successful career as a teacher and administrator. Rumor has it that he is now on a small boat, fishing on a secluded lake, somewhere in northern California. We are going to miss him.
This means our school year starts with a brand new Assistant Principal, Mr. Alex Cardenas.
Mr. Cardenas brings with him over two decades of teaching experience. He comes to us from Leuzinger High School and has had a long list of leadership and volunteer roles over the years.
When stopping by his office, he gave us his four rules to live by.

Along with his outstanding educational background, Mr. Cardenas clearly has a caring heart for our young students. He is a welcome addition to the Magruder Family.
