8th Grade Students who attend SHS will always attend those classes regardless of any change to a schedule. Once students complete those SHS classes they will come to Calle to finish the remaining of the day. Students who attend classes at SHS are still responsible for making up all school work in their Calle Mayor classes.

FREE AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING 

Students can attend the Calle Mayor Free Student tutoring, provided by dedicated South High Students. The tutoring takes place in the Library on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00PM. All Academic classes are supported. Click here for extra support help.

The Calle Mayor PTSA volunteers and donates much needed funds to enhance student programs. Sign up for the eYapper at the PTSA website: www.calleptsa.org 

Money donated to the PTSA supports the following programs:

  • After School Enrichment Clubs: Robotics, Computer Programing, Speech and Debate, Woodshop, Model UN After School Tutoring and Physical Fitness.
  • Adventures in Art: program that brings five different art projects to your student (100% funded by the PTSA).
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Red Ribbon Week: we bring Drug education and drug/alcohol abstinence to our kids.
