PBIS - Positive Behavior Intervention Support
Calle Mayor Students Have B.A.R.K !!
Be Respectful, Act Responsible, Remember Safety, Kindness Matters
PBIS is a systematic approach, driven by data which focuses on correcting behavior using positive reminders and rewards. This doesn't mean that consequences are not assigned for rule violations but that the focus is on reinforcing positive behaviors as a motivation for students to do what is right. Students who demonstrate anyone of these positive behavior traits are rewarded with Bulldog Bucks which can be used in weekly drawings for gift cards, front of the line passes at lunch or participate in special activities that occur throughout the year. Please help us in discussing with your child what is is to Be respectful, Act responsable, Remember safety and Kindness matter on our campus.
