AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLUBS: Join Now!!!

We would like to thank the Calle Mayor PTSA for their continued support with our after school clubs, these clubs would not be possible without their support. After School Clubs are available to all students. If you have not done so, please join our PTSA and help us keep these wonderful clubs going. Speech and Debate: Speech and Debate holds an annual Speech and Debate Invitational where students have an opportunity to compete against other middle schools in Torrance. This club teaches, supports and fosters good public speaking skills with an argumentative/persuasive focus but really it is just a lot of fun. 

Rocket Club: We are excited that Mr. Milligan has agreed to teach the rocket club. This club will walk students though multiple aspects of rocketry, from different power sources(wind to fuel), to design. This club provides students information on physics, chemistry, and is a ton of fun. This club meets on Tuesdays, listen to the daily announcement for dates.

Chess Club: Contact Mr. Balderas for information about this club, this club will meet on Mondays in Room 8.

Physical Fitness: Contact Mrs. Fowler for more information about this club.The Running Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

eSPORTS: Contact Mr. Somoano for more information, this club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

TBD Drone Club:  The drone club teaches the basics of drone flying leading up to racing drones through courses designed to test their skills. 

TBD Slot Car Racing Club:  The Slot Car Racing club provides students an opportunity to learn about and race slot cars on different tracks against their friends. This fast paced club is reminiscent of the children of the 60s through 80s. Curently the club has F1 cars but the library is expanding.
