PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE) 

Middle School Sports Athletic Physical Form and Athletic Packet: These forms are REQUIRED for all students who make the Middle Schol Athletic team. These forms are NOT required to try out for a Team. Click HERE to download the Athletic Packet which includes the Physical Form. All forms will need to be turned in to the Office. Students are required to have a 2.0 GPA and must have only one "U" in citizenship. We will use the following grading period to determine eligibility for a sport season:

Volleyball will be based off Quarter 1 markings

Basketball off Quarter 2 markings

Flag Football off Quarter 3 markings

Conversations and questions about PE:
Physical Education(PE) is required for all students by California State law.  
Injury: If your child is injured, you can write a note and submit it to the health clerk in the office for a PE excuse. The PE excuse is valid for up to 3 days, after this time an ORIGINAL SIGNED Doctor's note is required.
Religious: If you would like your child exempt from certain activities or for a period of time in PE due to religious reasons, please write a note(state the reason) and bring it to the health clerk in the office.

ISPE (Independent Study Physical Education) Program: The IPSE program is an exemption from the CA State Law, which requires by minute, students participating in Physical Education classes while in middle and high school. The Deadline for ISPE Interest forms is 8 MAY for the 26-27 school year. Parents will be notified sometime after 22 MAY. The ISPE Interest Form, is used to determine eligibility for participating in this program. For additional questions or for an Interest Form, please contact Mr. Trpin. If your ISPE Interest form is approved, then you will receive an ISPE application packet.
