Even if you don't live within TUSD boundaries, you can still apply for a permit to attend a TUSD school by following these two steps:

  1. Apply online or in-person at your home district to get a Release Permit
  2. Once you receive your Release Permit, you will need to apply for a TUSD Acceptance Permit beginning March 1st.

Once your TUSD Acceptance Permit is approved, then you can finish enrollment. Our Acceptance Permit process follows Board Policy 5117 and acceptance is based on space availability, grades, attendance and behavior.

If your home district denies your Release Permit request, you can still appeal this decision.
