GATE Enrichment (Grades 3-8)

All identified TUSD GATE students grades 3-8 are invited to participate in GATE enrichment sessions.

School Site-based Sessions: 6 or more school site-based sessions (scheduled throughout the year by school site GATE Teacher Leader Team) - logistics and delivery method will be determined by each site.
Each session will focus on social-emotional needs of gifted learners through a critical and/or creative thinking activity

School sites will be contacting families with more details regarding site-based enrichment sessions.

TUSD GATE Keynote - Registration opens February 20th!

TUSD GATE students and their parent/guardians (grades 3-8) are invited to attend our annual GATE Keynote. This year, we will be holding the keynote as an evening event at North High School. The event is free, but space is limited and registration is required. Registration link will be emailed to GATE Families on February 20th.

Student Maker Faire @ Torrance Innovation Festival

TUSD GATE will be combining forces with other amazing programs and events at the Torrance Innovation Festival being held on El Camino College's campus on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

We invite TUSD GATE students and their families to take part in the many opportunities available at the Torrance Innovation Festival on 4/18.

This event is free, but registration for the festival is required. Families may register via T orrance Innovation Festival website linked here.

Apply Now for Maker Faire Booth! - Students may apply to have their own booth & we invite families to come and support our innovative TUSD entrepreneurs. Opportunity is free and open to all TUSD students. Booth application deadline is February 27th.
