Our staff is committed to leveraging AI to personalize learning and better meet students' diverse needs. In classrooms, students bring varying levels of knowledge and skill, and as part of our innovative AI pilot, teachers are guiding students in using AI as a support tool to help fill learning gaps, reinforce concepts, and access targeted assistance. This approach allows us to tailor instruction so students receive support where they need it most, while continuing to develop critical thinking and ethical decision-making skills. By intentionally piloting AI in this way, Torrance Unified is preparing students for future academic and career success while modeling a responsible, forward-thinking approach to technology in education.
