Summer Camps and Other Resources
Torrance, CA – On Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 12 pm, please join the Torrance Unified School District in a Lunch and Learn webinar session to hear about local summer resources. Grab your lunch and tune in to hear (via zoom) from the District Family Engagement coordinator, Nancy Gutierrez, while she shares information and answers questions.
City of Torrance Summer Camp:
During the summer, the City of Torrance is offering Camp Torrance (formerly the Fun, Sports, and Teen Camp) for kids ages 6-12. The program starts on July 6 and costs $150 a week. For more additional information please see the attached flyer or contact ASaufua@torranceca.gov.
The Y Summer Day Camps:
Day camp at The Y is currently running now until August 20 for ages 5 – 13 for $250.00 and hours are from 7am to 6 pm. Starting July 13, The Y will be offering a day camp at Griffith Adult School for kids ages 8-13. Hours will be 7:30 am to 5 pm and the fee is $230.00.
