Late yesterday (March 31), California State Superintendent Tony Thurmond, sent a letter to all California County Superintendents stating, “Due to the current safety concerns and needs for ongoing social distancing, it currently appears that our students will not be able to return to school campuses before the end of the school year.”
The District is working with the California Department of Education and Los Angeles County Office of Education for clarification on these remarks. We will provide more information to our school community and staff members as soon as possible.
