CURRENT STATUS: Districtwide Internet and Phone Service Interruption
Torrance Unified School District is currently experiencing a districtwide interruption of internet and phone services with intermittent connectivity.
Our Information Technology team is actively working with our service providers to identify the cause and restore full service as quickly as possible. During this time, schools and district offices may experience intermittent internet access, may not be able to receive some phone calls, and certain online systems may be temporarily unavailable.
School operations are continuing as normal while our teams work to resolve the issue.
We appreciate your patience and will provide updates here as more information becomes available.
Torrance Unified Emergency Alert System
In the case of an incident affecting one or more of our schools, such as an earthquake, fire, medical emergency, or security threat, our Torrance Unified Emergency Alert System will be activated.
In addition to on-campus notifications, emails, and texts, this webpage will also provide updates with critical information about the incident.
Upcoming Drills
There are no upcoming drills at this time. When they are scheduled, Torrance Unified families will receive more details in an email prior to the drill and communications from their school principals with instructions. Please email communications@tusd.org with any questions.
