Academics


J.H. Hull students receive curriculum and activities that revolve around the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Students attend core academic courses daily as well as a Physical Education and Elective course.  

In addition, students have access to multiple activities and assistance during Enrichment, a 30-minute period at the end of the day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday throughout the school year. Students sign up for Enrichment sessions during Homeroom on Mondays.

Required Courses

All students must take the following classes each year:

  • English Language Arts (ELA)
  • Mathematics - 6th Grade Math or Hyper Compact Math, 7th Grade Math, 8th Grade Math, Algebra
  • Science - Life, Earth, Physical Science
  • Social Studies - Ancient Civilizations (6th), Early World History (7th), Early American History (8th)
  • Physical Education
  • Elective
