Counseling

A comprehensive school counseling program helps to support the social and emotinal development of students, which has a positive influence on academic development and success. J.H. Hull Middle School counselors prepare students to become lifelong learners  by focusing on academic, career, and social/emotional development

School counselors implement a comprehensive school counseling program by providing direct and indirect services such as:

  • Academic skills support - including organizational skills, goal-setting, monitoring student progress
  • Individual, group counseling, and classroom lessons
  • High school, college, and career planning
  • Crisis intervention and student/family referrals

To see a counselor, students can fill out a School Counselor Meeting Request form in the office. Counselors are also available during Snack & Lunch.
