Positive Behavior Matrix

In order to maintain an appropriate learning environment for ALL students, the following Positive Behavior Matrix will be encouraged while on campus. If students remember to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe, the consequences listed on the previous page will not be necessary. The Richardson Middle School staff strives to create a positive learning environment where students will thrive and feel connected. All students need to follow the guidelines below in order to ensure that this is possible. Students will periodically be rewarded for their positive behavior by teachers and staff.

Some possible rewards for positive behavior include (but are not limited to):

  • Rattlesnake Rewards – which are put in a raffle for various prizes
