STEAM FAIR on February 22, 2024
The Edison STEAM Fair was held on Thursday, 2/22/24.
First Place is moving on to the district STEAM Fair on 2/29/24
Invention Honorable Mention moves on to the Southern California State Innovation Festival on March 23, 2024 @ El Camino College.

South Bay Lakers Family Night 3/11/24
Edison PTA is hosting a Family Basketball Night at the South Bay Lakers vs the Westchester Knicks. Edison 4th/5th grader All Star Team Basketball students will participate in a PRE-GAME activity and the Edison Music program and Cheer will perform during the HALF-TIME Show.
Date: Monday, March 11, 2024
Location: UCLA Training Center 2275 E. Mariposa Avenue, El Segundo, CA 90245 Open to the Public: 6:00 PM
SB Lakers Game: 7:00 PM - 8:45 PM (don’t need to stay the whole time)
Ticket Cost: $20 for students (including performers/players) and $25 for adults. (Box office ticket price is $35.00)
Food Trucks: Burnt To A Crisp | Burgerly
Transportation: Parent/Adult must transport. This is not a drop off activity.
Parking: Free. Entrance off of the Mariposa Avenue Gate

IF YOUR CHILD IS COVID POSITIVE
Please complete the following self-reporting if your child is Covid Positive. If your child was requested to test because they are a close contact, please also complete the self-reporting form.
Any student who tests positive should notify us using the provided reporting link.
ATTENDANCE - KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY ARE SICK
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they are ill. Be sure to contact our school health assistant, Ms. Lajoy Atkins if you think your child has any Covid Symptoms, needs to quarantine/isolate because a family member is Covid positive, or just for any advice about your child’s illness. You can reach our health tech at atkins.lajoy@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent three or more days, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
