Edison’s Talent Show Fri., February 23 at 5:30 PM
Student Council and PTA is hosting a school talent show on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the NHS Auditorium. We would love for students to come support and watch their peers. $2.00 for Edison Students. $5 for PTA members and $10 for non-PTA members. Admission is necessary as we are charged for the facility usage and AV/lighting.
Jump for Heart this Wednesday! Kids Heart Challenge: Register your Student TODAY
Students will be jumping for one hour and parents are welcome to join. Prizes will be handed out each Friday. Salute our top fundraisers: Sebastian M, Ricardo M, Madison B, Benedict S, Olivia B, Elijah B, Finn B and Melanie N. 4th Grade at top level. 91 students have registered - it’s free to register!
So far we raised $5,300.00 for the America Heart Association. With a goal of $9,000.

We need student submissions for this year's yearbook cover! The submission has to say the year “2023-24 and Edison Elementary,” It must be vertical orientation on 8.5”x11” paper, and include your name on the back side.

IF YOUR CHILD IS COVID POSITIVE
Please complete the following self-reporting if your child is Covid Positive. If your child was requested to test because they are a close contact, please also complete the self-reporting form.
Any student who tests positive should notify us using the provided reporting link.
ATTENDANCE - KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY ARE SICK
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they are ill. Be sure to contact our school health assistant, Ms. Lajoy Atkins if you think your child has any Covid Symptoms, needs to quarantine/isolate because a family member is Covid positive, or just for any advice about your child’s illness. You can reach our health tech at atkins.lajoy@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent three or more days, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
