BLUE RIBBON WEEK
To honor the heroes in law enforcement, fire fighters and military, we are having a spirit week.
Mon-- Wear Blue to support our Heroes
Tue- Make a card or poster to thank a hero (turn it in for class participation)
Wed--Hat’s off to our heroes -wear a hat day
Thur-- Favorite hero day (dress like a superhero or your hero)
Fri-- Salute to our Heroes - wear red, white, blue
Lockdown Drill
Last week Edison Staff had an Active Shooter training by the Torrance Police SWAT team. Today, all teachers will play a short powerpoint to the students as to what to do should there be an actual Lockdown/Intruder on campus. We will also have a lockdown drill today.

TK - 4th grade families: If you have not done so a hard copy will be sent home. Please complete this asap.
Healthy Ever After
Please return the opt out form if your student is unable to participate in the next nutrition lesson. Strawberry banana smoothies will be distributed during this Friday’s recess. Teachers will be airing the Healthy Ever After nutrition lesson to the class.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and Wellness Week. More to come.
