Metro GoPass
Ride Metro for FREE!
Available to current TAS Students*
(*Must be enrolled in the ESL, ABE/ASE, or CTE program)
The Torrance Unified School District (TUSD), in partnership with Metro, is now offering FREE GoPass Transit Access Pass (TAP) cards to Torrance Adult School (TAS) students* enrolled in the current 2023-24 school year!
Requirements
- New ESL & ABE/ASE students must have a minimum of 12 hours of attendance to receive the Metro GoPass.
- No attendance hours requirement for returning TAS students - returning TAS students must have completed a minimum of 12 hours of attendance in the past school year to receive the Metro GoPass immediately.
- No attendance hours requirement for CTE students - CTE students can receive the Metro GoPass immediately.
- Students can state in their application if they have an urgent need to waive the 12-hour attendance requirement.
Register for the Metro GoPass
- Complete the TAS Metro GoPass Request Form.
- Students may come to the Hamilton Office after 2 working days to pick up their Metro GoPass.
- The Hamilton Office staff will activate the Metro GoPass for students upon pickup.
NOTE: The Metro GoPass will not work unless the pass is activated! The Metro GoPass must be activated by the Hamilton Office staff. .
Metro GoPass Transit Services
The Metro GoPass offers unlimited FREE rides on Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) bus rail and subway lines. The following transit systems are also included in the Metro GoPass (through June 2024):
