SHS Counseling Office
The counseling office offers comprehensive support to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The counselors assist students within thier specific alpha with academic planning, course selection, and personal concerns, while the college and career counselor provides resources for all students on post-secondary planning and career exploration. The dean of students supports a safe and respectful school environment, and mental health services are available through the school psychologist and on-site therapists. Additionally, the counseling support staff manage student records, enrollment, transcripts, and other essential documentation.
The counseling office is located in the administration building and is open on school days from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. To meet with a counselor:
- Students can drop in without appointments for quick questions before school, during lunch, or immediately after 6th period. For longer discussions, students can sign up for a meeting in the main counseling office.
- Parent/Guardians can email or call your student's counselor in advance to schedule a meeting.
