Join us Friday, Mother’s Day weekend at a special night for the young heroes in our lives! This is the suggested Mother Son Dance, however, any Special Guest Adult of the son’s choosing is welcome. Friday, May 8 from 6-8pm in the Edison Cafeteria. Cost: $20 for Initial Mother/Hero pair, $5 for each additional little hero. Special PTA Member rate: only $5 for the Mother/Hero pair!

ATTENDANCE - AND INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACTS
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they have a fever 100 degrees or vomiting. Students can still complete an independent study contract when absent due to illness to receive attendance credit, up to 15 days during the school year. You can contact the office staff and your child’s teacher for an independent study contract.
For any medical or illness questions, contact our school LVN Lilliana Garcia. You can reach her at garcia.lilliana@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
