Blue Ribbon Week Hero Assembly, Monday 4/27/2026
Please join us at our next in person assembly 4/27 where Edison Elementary PTA will honor Edison family members and caregivers whose work contributes to the safety of children (e.g. first responders, pediatric and/or school healthcare workers, school counselors, school crossing guards, military service members). ATTENDANCE - AND INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACTS
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they have a fever 100 degrees or vomiting. Students can still complete an independent study contract when absent due to illness to receive attendance credit, up to 15 days during the school year. You can contact the office staff and your child’s teacher for an independent study contract.
For any medical or illness questions, contact our school LVN Lilliana Garcia. You can reach her at garcia.lilliana@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
