Family Math 3/19. PreOrder for Dinner 3/17 4PM
Family Math night is Thursday, March 19, 2026. Please join us for a fun night of Math Games for the whole family. You may also join us for El Pollo Loco dinner any time between 6:00 - 6:30 PM for $7.50 per person. Preorder Here by 4 PM on 3/17/26.
The Family Math portion will begin at 6:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM. You may still attend the Family Math portion without RSVPing, but for planning purposes, it's helpful to know the age range. Golden Keep it REAL tickets given to students in attendance.

Try outs during PE 3/11, 3/13, 3/18 and 3/20. Wear running Shoes and comfortable clothes.
3/27 Team announcements. April and May Practice one day per week at North High School. Dates and times will be announced. 5/29 Track meet at West High School.

Save the date! Bike Rodeo is coming to Edison!
This bicycle safety program, hosted by the PTA, encourages 3rd-5th grade students to show off their cycling safety knowledge and expertise. Please review the welcome letter, have your child review Bike Safety for Students, and SAVE THAT DATE - Next month, April 9!

Yearbook Cover Design Contest- Submissions due Friday, April 10th
Turn in your unique design to the main office for a chance to create the yearbook cover!
Follow these simple rules:
-”Edison Elementary” and “2025-2026” must be included
-Use an 8.5”x11” sheet of plain white, unlined paper (vertical/portrait orientation)
-Make it colorful! You can use crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc. The more color the better!
-Write your name and teacher on the back. Do NOT sign your name to the cover artwork.

ATTENDANCE - AND INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACTS
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they have a fever 100 degrees or vomiting. Students can still complete an independent study contract when absent due to illness to receive attendance credit, up to 15 days during the school year. You can contact the office staff and your child’s teacher for an independent study contract.
For any medical or illness questions, contact our school LVN Lilliana Garcia. You can reach her at garcia.lilliana@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
