STEAM Fair Winners!
Congratulations to all our STEAM Fair winners and those advancing to the District Awards on March 5. First place, Honorable Mention and Second Place winners received their Amazon Gift Card at today’s assembly. If you are going to the Invention Convention, you must register by March 13 for the April 18 Invention Convention at El Camino College.
Family Math 3/19. PreOrder for Dinner 3/17 4PM Flyer
Family Math night is Thursday, March 19, 2026. Please join us for a fun night of Math Games for the whole family. You may also join us for El Pollo Loco dinner any time between 6:00 - 6:30 PM for $7.50 per person. The Family Math portion will begin at 6:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM. You may still attend the Family Math portion without RSVPing, but for planning purposes, it's helpful to know the age range. Golden Keep it REAL tickets given to students in attendance.

5th Grade Fundraisers - Islands, March 3rd
Thank you for those who supported our 5th grade class at the Panda Express fundraiser last Thursday. Your support enables fun and memorable end of the year activities for our promoting Edison students. The next restaurant night to support 5th grade is Tuesday, March 3rd at Islands in Redondo Beach! Eat any time between 4pm and close, dine in or take out.

BoxTops Receipt Drive extended
Save your receipts and turn them into cash! Edison is collecting grocery receipts and will scan them in, so you don’t have to. Receipts can be turned into the office.

You can easily support Edison elementary by signing up for Ralphs' Community Contribution program and designate Edison PTA to receive a percentage of your purchases. It’s free, all you do is your normal grocery shopping!

ATTENDANCE - AND INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACTS
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they have a fever 100 degrees or vomiting. Students can still complete an independent study contract when absent due to illness to receive attendance credit, up to 15 days during the school year. You can contact the office staff and your child’s teacher for an independent study contract.

If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
