Kids Heart Challenge
Thank you DJ Ozzie for volunteering! 27 completed Finn’s Mission learning hands only CPR and how to recognize a stroke. 136 students total registered. Top class for fundraising was Ms. Matis class and top class of registered students is Ms. Marquez class. Extra recess and movie on the way.

Honorary Service Award ceremony this Thursday 2/19 5:30 @ Edison Cafeteria
We will be recognizing our HSA winners and Reflection winners during this Thursday’s PTA Meeting at 5:30. 2-5th graders are invited to perform during the HSA ceremony. Please let us know by tomorrow if your student will be attending by RSVPing https://forms.gle/QqhJYfMuv1q7FDuDA.
If your student is performing, please arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. and report directly to the music room upon arrival. The performance will begin at approximately 6:15 p.m. The dress code for the evening is an Edison School top or Red Shirt with long pants. Ties and dresses are not required.

Save your receipts and turn them into cash! Edison is collecting grocery receipts and will scan them in, so you don’t have to. Receipts can be turned into the office.

ATTENDANCE - AND INDEPENDENT STUDY CONTRACTS
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they have a fever 100 degrees or vomiting. Students can still complete an independent study contract when absent due to illness to receive attendance credit, up to 15 days during the school year. You can contact the office staff and your child’s teacher for an independent study contract.

If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
