Back to School Schedule is:
5:30 - 6:00 TK - 2nd Grade
6:00 - 6:30 PTA Association Meeting
6:30 - 7:00 3rd - 5th Grade
This is also a Minimum Day on 9/12, ending school one hour early:
TK-K (no change in time)
1st - 3rd school ends at 2:03
4th - 5th school ends at 2:12

The picture day order forms were sent home, however you can also order online at: http://mylifetouch.com to order optional photos. Make up day 10/17. Regular Weekly/Daily volunteers may take a volunteer badge as well from 8 AM - 9 AM.

BATHROOM EXPECTATIONS
Respect: Use soft voices, little talking
Empathy: Give others privacy, and clean up after yourself
Awareness: Flush and make sure all of it has been flushed, wash hands thoroughly and return to class quickly

Register on PowerSchool at www.ps.tusd.org to complete your annual registration. Everyone MUST do this online. If you need help, please stop by the office and you can log in here.

Student Emergency Kit - Due September 13!
Thank You from Edison PTA’s 5th Grade Committee for pre-ordering your Emergency Kits and helping us to raise funds for end-of-year activities!
Pre-ordered is due Sept 5. Emergency Kits will be distributed next week after school:
September 10-11, after school at the front gate
September 12, after school at the back gate
Any remaining kits can be picked up at Back to School Night.
You can also make your own kit.

ATTENDANCE - KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY ARE SICK
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they are ill. Be sure to contact our school health assistant, Ms. Lajoy Atkins if you think your child has any Covid Symptoms, needs to quarantine/isolate because a family member is Covid positive, or just for any advice about your child’s illness. You can reach our health tech at atkins.lajoy@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent three or more days, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
