All students who received an award will be photographed at the next in person assembly the Tuesday after the Memorial Day holiday..

Please attend Portfolio Day during your lunch break or arrange for a family member to attend in your place. Join your child in their classroom as they share their hard work and progress in class.
All students can have lunch in the cafeteria however we need to know in advance if they are getting a school lunch or if you are bringing lunch for your child.
Schedule:
11:45 Gates Open (back gate, front gate, and the side parking lot for on-campus parking)
12:00-1:00 Family picnic on the field
1:00 - 1:45 Portfolio Day
When you arrive, your child will be waiting for you in their classroom between 11:45 and 12:10. After 12:10 your child will be walked to the cafeteria, where you can pick them up from the cafeteria. If you will not be able to attend, please let us know in the survey so that we can match your child up with another student.
It’s early out Wednesday so if you plan to take your child home after reviewing their portfolio, you must sign your child out from their classroom.

5th Grade Parents
The 5th grade committee has been working hard planning the 5th grade picnic that will take place on Tuesday, June 11th, at Columbia Park. But we need parent volunteers to sign up to help on that day so we can bring this vision to life.

IF YOUR CHILD IS COVID POSITIVE
Please complete the following self-reporting if your child is Covid Positive. If your child was requested to test because they are a close contact, please also complete the self-reporting form.
Any student who tests positive should notify us using the provided reporting link.
ATTENDANCE - KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY ARE SICK
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they are ill. Be sure to contact our school health assistant, Ms. Lajoy Atkins if you think your child has any Covid Symptoms, needs to quarantine/isolate because a family member is Covid positive, or just for any advice about your child’s illness. You can reach our health tech at atkins.lajoy@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent three or more days, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
