Our English Language Learning students face many challenges.  Our English Language Development program (ELD) is dedicated to providing the support and instruction needed for these students to succeed. 

Below, you will see the course outline slide show by our ELD Coordinator and Instructor, Mrs. Fraga.  This includes information on what students do in class, extra support outside of class, how a student completes the program, and parent involvement and support through our English Language Multicultural Advisement Committee.

English Language Multicultural Advisory Committee (ELMAC)

The English Learner Mulitcultural Advisory Committee (ELMAC) meets several times during the school year.  This program is for members of our English as a second language learner community to come together to advise and support the program here at Magruder.  It is made up of parents and students.  Anyone interesting can attend the meeting.   

 Some meeting are in person and some are via zoom.   If you would like to attend a zoom meeting and did not get a zoom link, please email Mrs. Fraga at Fraga.Carmen@tusd.org
