Open Enrollment is for Torrance residents who want to transfer their student to a different Torrance school.
Per Ed Code 35160.5b, we have established a policy allowing families who live within Torrance Unified boundaries to apply to have their student attend a different Torrance school. Spots are offered through a random lottery process, and not first-come-first serve. You must submit an application to be included in the lottery.
For our 2024-2025 Open Enrollment Lottery we have adopted PowerSchool Enrollment to accept online applications. You can complete your student’s application for our Open Enrollment Lottery from any device with internet access.
