As we near the beginning of our 2023-2024 school year, we’d like to remind you that our partners at L.A. County Metro have a GoPass Program that will allow students to ride public transportation for free throughout L.A. County through June 30, 2024.
Due to sufficient responses from our families who completed the June survey to determine our district’s interest in the program, we will participate in the Metro GoPass Program for our 2023-2024 school year.
*Please note: We are expecting more passes to arrive for students that did not receive one soon.*
GoPass Distribution:
Transit Access Pass (TAP) cards and instructions will be distributed to all High School students at registration. If your student did not receive one and wants one, they will be available at the school front office beginning August 24th.
Middle Schools will have the option of distributing TAP cards to all students at registration, or having them in the school office beginning August 24th for any Middle School student who asks for one–your principal will advise you as to which method they are using at their school site.
All Elementary students who want one can pick up their TAP card and instructions after the first day of school, August 24th, from the school office.
Students will receive their TAP card, a brochure with information about the program and instructions for registration, and a unique eligibility code that is required for registration.
