It is hard to believe we are already preparing for the 2023-2024 school year. We look forward to and anticipate the return of our students here to campus with our first day of school being Thursday, August 24.
As we move closer to our start date of school please mark your calendars registration which is on August 16 from 8:00 am -1:30 pm This registration process is helpful, however if there is conflict with schedules, do not to fret. All materials and information will be available online and via PowerSchool after registration for anyone who can not make it. Likewise, parents may attend with students however, it is not mandatory. Traditionally the start of the day is VERY busy, if you can attend later in the day, it will help expedite the process. The later in the day is less busy with the entry line being much shorter.
To begin the registration process, proof of online registration (hard copy or on your mobile device) is needed in order to pick up a student's tentative schedule. An email was sent to each parent with login information and password for PowerSchool online registration. Once this is completed an email will be sent, this confirmation email is what we will request to see before moving through the onsite registration process.
While you are online, please complete the Titan lunch program form. Each year families are asked to complete the Titan lunch program form, despite your income status PLEASE complete this form, it is a 5 minute process. Your personal information is confidential and is used to ensure Jefferson has all the support our Jaguars are eligible to receive. This year snacks and lunch continue to be provided at no cost through a grant. Registration will include information about Jefferson PTSA, yearbooks, 8th grade events, physical education uniforms (these are the same from last year, no need to purchase new ones, if they still fit) and more! Attached you will find information in advance to help in preparation for registration as well. Students will have an opportunity to walk the campus to locate their classrooms as well to be sure all are comfortable on the first day of school. The office is open 8:30-2:00 for the remainder of the summer if you were to have questions or need assistance.
