The Arts Council of Torrance announces its Annual Poetry Competition, with awards to be presented on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Katy Geissert Library at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center.
Applicants may be adults and middle or high school students. Students may be enrolled in a
Torrance school or home-schooled, and must be a resident of Torrance. There is no residency
requirement for adults.
All applicants whose original poems are accepted for the competition must be available to read
their poems on April 8, 2023, time to be determined, at the Katy Geissert Library. They will be
notified of their acceptance by email.
