On Wednesday, June 5th, at 6 PM, West High School will be hosting a "Middle School Mile" race for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Girls and Boys. The event will take place on the West High Track (20401 Victor Street). This event is open to all runners from Jefferson Middle School.
Runners have also been invited from Bert Lynn, Calle Mayor, and Richardson - making this a West-side (Jefferson & Bert Lynn) versus South-side (Calle Mayor & Richardson) event.
Top finishers in each group (6th Grade Boys, 6th Grade Girls, etc) will receive medals.
If you've never participating in an event like this one, they are a lot of fun.
