CALIFORNIA UNIVERSAL MEALS for the 2022-2023 School Year

Torrance Unified School District is pleased to announce that ALL TUSD schools will be offering FREE daily breakfast and lunch during the 2022-2023 School Year through the California Universal Meals Program.

IMPORTANT: Although meals are free of charge, families are still highly recommended to submit a meal application. The information collected on the meal application ensures our schools receive adequate funding to support the learning of low income students and can offer families additional benefits such as discounted fees. Other areas supported by this funding include intervention, additional academic counseling, socio-emotional counseling, and reading recovery. Your cooperation is sincerely appreciated. 

How to Apply: Please complete a meal application here. You do not need a Titan account to complete a meal application. Please complete one application per household.

El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Torrance se complace en anunciar que TODAS las escuelas de TUSD ofrecerán desayuno y también almuerzo a diario GRATUITO durante el año escolar 2022-2023 a través del Programa Universal de Comidas de California. 

IMPORTANTE: Aunque las comidas sean gratuitas, recomendamos encarecidamente a las familias que entreguen una solicitud de comida. La información recopilada en la solicitud de comida garantiza que nuestras escuelas recibirán los fondos adecuados para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de bajos ingresos y puedan ofrecerle a su familia beneficios adicionales, como descuento en las tasas. Otras áreas que este financiamiento apoya incluyen (programas de) intervención, consejería académica adicional, consejería socioemocional y recuperación en lectura. Su cooperación es sinceramente apreciada. 

Cómo hacer la solicitud: Por favor, rellene la solicitud de comida aquí. No es necesario que tenga una cuenta en Titan para hacer la solicitud para la comida. Por favor, entreguen una solicitud por hogar.
