Incoming 6th Grade Information & Course Selection Now Open

Dear Incoming 6th Grade Families,

We are excited to welcome you to Jefferson Middle School! As you prepare for this important transition, we invite you to view a slideshow presentation created by our principal, Ms. Nunes.

Course Selection Now Open in PowerSchool

Course request selection for incoming 6th grade students is now available through the PowerSchool Student Portal.

Families and students should carefully review the posted directions and complete selections as soon as possible. The process includes choosing:
  • A 6th grade elective
  • Alternate elective choices
  • Math placement
  • PE option

Please be sure to submit your selections before logging off.

The course request window will remain open until April 28, 2026. If you need to make changes before the deadline, you may log back in and update your selections by following the same steps.
