8th Grade Promotion & End-of-Year Updates!
Update from Tuesday 5/11:
Tuesday, May 11th, JMS families were sent three important emails from Ms. Marin for our 8th graders. Make sure to check your emails, as these events are coming up fast:
Promotion Survey: This eBlast contains information about the Promotion Ceremony, Promotion Practice, and the 8th grade Picnic. Please complete this survey by Thursday 5/13.
Lawn Sign Pick Up: This eBlast contains Information about how to pick up a Promotion Lawn Sign.
Zoom Photo Session: This eBlast contains information about a photo memento.
Some of the info needs your response and is time sensitive, so please remember to check those emails, read through them and respond.
Update from April 5th
Thank you to our amazing Jefferson Middle School community. Your generous direct donations, participation in restaurant fundraisers, and the support of the PTSA raised more than $9,500 to celebrate our 8th graders! Now we are planning even more ways to appreciate the wonderful JMS Class of 2021. A special thanks to JMS staff for all your help as well!
Celebration Items Funded and Underway
One per student:
- Class of 2025 t-shirt for high school
- Class of 2021 congratulatory lawn sign
- Beautiful ribbon lei
- Class photo poster
Socially distant JMS on-campus celebration activities:
- Family photo area with decorations
- Student memory signing boards
JMS outside-campus-gates, unmonitored “anytime” photo spot:
- Class of 2021 congratulatory banner
Important Dates
No dates have been set for any 8th grade celebration items yet.
Still want to donate or volunteer?
We have met our fundraising goals, but you can still donate or volunteer using the PDF form on this page.
Donate $40 or more by Thursday, May 20, 2021
- Guarantees your family name is printed in the 8th Grade Program booklet given to all families at the end of the year
Donate any amount by June 9, 2021
- We will gratefully accept your donation and may still find a use for it, but it will not include program acknowledgment.
