Walk for friendship. Walk for education. Walk to make a difference.
The Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk rallies thousands every October for a fun-filled celebration at the beach, where families & friends gather to walk from Manhattan Beach Pier to Hermosa Beach Pier & back in support of our children. Since 2009, the event has raised millions of dollars to support children with special needs, public education, & our national college scholarship program.
The Skechers Friendship Walk is an EXCELLENT opportunity to raise funds for Carr and for all children!

I appreciate how much grass and green spaces the Torrance Unified schools have in comparison to other districts. Playgrounds, fields and gardens are so important for students to enjoy and explore.
We've been impressed with how accessible and responsive the teachers and staff are. You can reach out and they will recognize you and answer your questions and listen to your feedback.
The best thing about Torrance Unified is the diversity. Students learn to appreciate and celebrate differences which will help them succeed in our global society.
