Mrs. Laurene Hegge

Hello, I’m Mrs. Hegge.  I am a Fourth Grade Combo teacher.  This year begins my twenty-fifth year teaching at Fern but my forty-first year teaching.  I taught sixteen years in the parochial schools before coming to TUSD.  I have taught grades three, four and five. I  received my Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Northridge and completed my teaching credential and Master’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University.  

I have been happily married for thirty-eight years, and a very  proud mom of my two grown boys.  My eldest is married and has two beautiful children.  They live close by so I get to see them often.  My youngest son is in the United States Air Force stationed in South Korea right now. In my free time,  you can catch me playing games, reading, singing, dancing, watching soccer, Little League games, and swimming with my grandchildren.
