Mrs. Shalini O'Neil

Hi!  My name is Mrs. O’Neil.   I have been teaching at Fern Elementary for 24 years.  I graduated from Loyola Marymount University, where I received my teaching credential.  I later received my Masters Degree from National University. My first year at Fern I taught 2nd grade.  Then I moved to 1st grade. I have had a couple 1/2 combo classes and a k/1 combo class too.  I love teaching my students how to read and write. When I am not at Fern teaching, I am at home spending time with my family and pet dog named Riley.  Much of my time is spent watching my daughter dance and my son play lacrosse. I am honored to be teaching at Fern!
