Welcome to the Arlington Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

The PTA is a group of parents and community partners who have come together to support the school and help the kids get the best learning experience possible. We raise money for everything from field trips to art supplies, volunteer to help inside and outside the classroom, and provide a connection between the community and the school.

We hope you’ll join us as we support our (and your) kids.

Greetings Arlington Superstar Families!

On behalf of the Arlington PTA, I am so excited to welcome all our new and returning families to the 2022-23 school year! We are energized to be back on campus and have been working closely with our hard-working principal, amazing teachers and staff to reimagine how the PTA can best support our students and school community. As we continue to learn and adjust, we are thankful that with your continued support, many beloved programs and events will continue for our students and families.

My name is Veronica Duarte and I am your 2022-2023 PTA President. As I start my first year as president, I remain as amazed today as I was seven years ago (as a first-time kinder parent) at the overwhelming generosity of time and money contributed by our Arlington families. With your help, we look forward to supporting:

• programs like Adventures In Art, Red Ribbon Week, Heroes Week, Spirit Week, Multicultural Day

• providing field trips for all grade levels and assemblies

• community building events like movie night, family math nights, variety shows, Relay For Life, Holiday Market

• campus resources including the library, Reading Incentive week, Environmental week, Healthy Ever After Nutrition, Book fairs

• celebrating student achievements and staff excellence... and so much more!

To help make this a year our students never forget, please consider participating in our Fall Fundraiser event and Membership Drive. The success of this fundraiser will directly impact the number of programs that return and the new ones we launch! SUPERSTARS, let’s make some magic and SHINE BRIGHTER THAN EVER! I hope you consider getting involved! The more parents and loved ones who contribute their time and talents, the stronger and more connected our school community grows. Whether it’s a one-time commitment or a signature event, we have the perfect job for you! In this folder you will find many helpful items to get us started for the school year. Please take the time to read through enclosed paperwork and turn in to your child’s teacher. You will also find information about the many ways to become involved in the Arlington PTA.
