PTSA Motto
“Surround yourself with the dreamers, the doers, the believers and the thinkers; but most of all surround yourself with those that see greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.”-Simone Biles
Our PTSA (Parent, Teacher and Student Association), is the committee that unites all Magruder community members.
The PTSA program's objectives are:
- To raise funds for activities that the district's general fund cannot provide for
- To volunteer on campus
- Advocate for our students at a school and state level
- And above all, promote the physical, academic, social and emotional health of our students.
You are invited to get involved and become a member of the PTSA. There are so many ways you can help: volunteering on campus, joining a committee, completing tasks from home or contributing during fundraising activities.
Membership is $10 — Join Now!
Being a Magruder PTSA member does not obligate you to volunteer, although it is appreciated if you can.
PTSA is responsible for.....
- Bringing Art Opportunities to Our Students-Through the Adventures in Art and Reflections Programs
- Providing Emergency, Health and Safety Supplies and Information
- Organizing Dances and Student Celebrations
- Coordinating Teacher and Staff Appreciations
- Reimbursing Teachers for Additional Classroom Supplies
- Scheduling and Funding Special Assemblies and Field Trips.
You can help fund these great activities and programs by: Direct Donations, Fall and Spring Fundraisers, and various community programs like Ralphs Community Rewards.
